Resource Geosciences Inc. is an independent provider of comprehensive geoscience and exploration services to mining and exploration companies. Our bilingual English-Spanish, multi-cultural team has over 90 years of international experience, delivering professional geoscience services to mining companies, exploration companies, and government agencies.
We are an exploration services company committed to ethical resource development. Our experienced team is headed by Dr. Matthew D Gray, C.P.G., and Ing. Mario Castellanos. We provide reliable and cost-efficient mining and exploration services to our clients throughout the Americas.
Resource Geosciences was incorporated in 2000 to provide exploration services to mining and exploration companies. Geologists by training, and explorationists by experience, the principals have over ninety years of international exploration experience gained through employment with Placer Dome, BHP, Newmont, Cambior, Peñoles, and Frisco. Resource Geosciences and its Directors are able to effectively conduct business in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and have done so in a variety of operating environments including Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Papua New Guinea, Peru, and the United States.
Resource Geosciences is exclusively a provider of technical and administrative services and does not acquire interests in mining projects for its own account nor promote projects for clients.

- Negotiated surface rights agreements with 5 Mexican agricultural communities and 84 homeowners, culminating in a $2M community relocation project required for mine development.
- Provided technical, permitting, and logistical direction and co-authored the 2010 Preliminary Economic Assessment for the La India Gold Project, Sonora, which formed the basis for its sale to Agnico Eagle Mines for $275M CDN in 2011.
- Evaluated porphyry copper, IOCG, and manto copper deposits for clients in Regions I, II, III, and IV, Chile.
- Managed and implemented regional exploration programs comprising detailed geologic mapping, systematic geochemical surveys, lithogeochemical classifications, and petrologic studies at the Bahuerachi porphyry copper deposit, Chihuahua, Mexico.
- Developed a 2,000 gpm mine water supply from unconventional hardrock aquifers.
- Led successful effort to obtain all necessary Federal, State, and Municipal permits needed to construct and operate a large-scale open pit mine in Mexico.
- Managed underground mine development and exploration drill programs.
